About this Coffee

Peaberry beans are a natural mutation where a coffee cherry develops a single round seed instead of the usual two flat halves. Because all the cherry’s nutrients flow into one seed rather than being split, peaberries are denser and more flavourful by volume.

We sort peaberries by hand during processing — it’s painstaking work that adds significantly to labour cost, which is why peaberry is always priced at a premium. From a 1,000kg harvest we might recover 40–60kg of true peaberry grade.

Light-roasted to 198°C to maximise clarity. The cup is electric: concentrated jasmine, bergamot, and lychee aromas, followed by a bright, clean flavour with exceptional sweetness and length. A weekend pour-over coffee for when you want to slow down and pay attention.

Peaberry is worth every rupee

I was skeptical about the premium pricing but after trying the Peaberry I get it — it is noticeably sweeter and more complex. Great as espresso and exceptional as filter.

Peaberry is a different experience entirely

I was sceptical about the premium for peaberry until I tasted it side by side with a standard lot. The sweetness is noticeably higher and the roast evenness shows in the cup — no harsh edges, just a smooth, round body. I brew it as pour-over and drink it without milk. Will not go back to flat beans for my pour-over now.
