About this Coffee

Our dark peaberry espresso roast satisfies the drinker who wants speciality pedigree with traditional Italian dark-roast intensity. Roasted to 218°C, the beans surface-oil lightly — a sign of deep caramelisation — and the resulting espresso is thick, intensely aromatic, and unmistakably premium.

Peaberry’s compact round shape creates exceptional contact uniformity in the grinder, producing a consistent puck that extracts evenly every pull. The crema is thick, persistent, and tiger-striped — visually satisfying before you even taste it.

Use this as your morning two-shot pull with steamed milk, or add 150ml hot water for an Americano that holds its flavour. Built for those who feel single-origin light roasts miss the point of espresso.

Peaberry medium-dark — best AeroPress result I have had

I have been experimenting with AeroPress recipes for six months. The Kynetra Peaberry medium-dark is the best bean I have used in it — the even roast of the round bean extracts cleanly with a short steep, and the cup is complex without any bitterness. I use the inverted method, 14g to 200ml, 92°C, 90 seconds. The result is a coffee I am happy to serve to guests as a substitute for espresso.
