The best pour-over I have brewed at home
The S795 light roast has a brightness I did not expect — apricot and a hint of jasmine. Brewed it in a V60 and could not stop at one cup. Will be ordering the 250g monthly.

Kynetra Coffee
Bright and floral S795 Arabica from our Pollibetta estate, light-roasted to preserve the nuanced fruit notes of Coorg’s high-altitude gardens.
The S795 cultivar — developed at the Central Coffee Research Institute in Balehonnur — is synonymous with Karnataka’s finest estate coffees. At Kynetra, our S795 block sits between 1,200 and 1,280 metres where morning mist lingers until mid-morning, slowing cherry development and concentrating sugars.
We harvest only fully ripe red cherries by hand, pulp the same evening, and wet-ferment for 36 hours before raised-bed drying in thin layers under shade nets. The result is a clean washed profile with exceptional clarity.
Light-roasting keeps the varietal character front and centre — expect a lemon-blossom aroma, a bright mandarin-like acidity, and a clean, tea-like finish that rewards careful brewing. This is our most nuanced single-origin.

Single-origin Coorg that actually tastes like Coorg
I have been ordering single-origin beans from across India for two years. The S795 from Kynetra is one of the cleanest washed Arabicas I have tasted domestically — jasmine aroma on the bloom, a gentle citrus brightness mid-cup, and a caramel finish that lingers. Brewed it on a V60 and drank it black. Outstanding.
