Malabar Monsoon Blend — Filter Roast
Kynetra Coffee
Monsooned Malabar’s earthiness dialled back by equal parts S795 Arabica — a balanced filter blend with presence and depth that is approachable for everyday drinking.
About this Coffee
Pure Monsooned Malabar is intense — some find the unadulterated earthiness overwhelming. This blend solves that by pairing it 50:50 with our washed S795 Arabica, creating a medium-dark filter roast that carries Malabar’s unmistakable body and low acidity while letting S795’s cleaner notes soften the earthiness.
Roasted to 210°C, the blend sits at filter darkness — full decoction in a traditional South Indian filter produces a rich, dark red-brown cup with a deep, satisfying aroma and a surprisingly long, sweet finish from the Arabica component.
This is the blend we recommend to Monsooned Malabar newcomers: all the character, none of the shock.
